Allemni processes data belonging to institutions, teachers, students and parents. This page describes what we collect, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are.

1.Who is the data controller
The client institution is the controller for its students', parents' and teachers' data. Allemni acts as a processor within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR, and only on the institution's instructions.
2.Data collected
Identification and contact details, enrolment and academic records, attendance and assessments, payment data (card details are handled by our payment providers and never transit through our servers), recordings of online sessions, and technical connection logs.
3.Purposes
Delivering the service: administrative and academic management, running online sessions, collecting payment and issuing reminders, communicating with students and parents, security and abuse prevention.
4.Retention periods
Data is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship, then for the applicable statutory accounting and academic retention periods. Session recordings follow the retention period set by the institution in its own settings.
5.Hosting and sub-processors
Data is hosted on servers located within the European Union. The list of sub-processors (hosting, video conferencing, messaging, payment) is kept up to date and provided on request.
6.Minors
The platform hosts students who are minors. Minors' accounts are created by the institution, and the holder of parental authority is given dedicated access as well as a right to object.
7.Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Requests from a student or parent are addressed to the institution, which forwards them where necessary. A complaint may be lodged with the competent supervisory authority.
8.Cookies
This marketing site only uses strictly necessary cookies. No advertising tracker is set. A privacy-friendly analytics tool may be added later, and will be documented here if it is.
